Implementing the Hanoi City Police Plan on strictly handling violations that are direct causes of traffic accidents, focusing on groups of alcohol concentration violations, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department is synchronously implementing measures, strengthening control and handling at key routes and areas, especially areas with many restaurants and bars to create deterrence and prevent violations.
Accordingly, the traffic police force is deployed to work during the hours, focusing on the time when violations are likely to arise.
The Working Groups are assigned to patrol and control key routes, areas with many restaurants, eateries, karaoke bars... to promptly detect and handle violations.
In recent days, the authorities have continuously discovered many cases of high-level violations.
As on the evening of March 25, at the Le Duc Tho - Nguyen Hoang intersection (Nam Tu Liem District), the Working Group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 discovered and handled 15 cases of motorbike and moped drivers violating alcohol concentration.
Among them, there were many cases of violations exceeding the scope. For example, Mr. T.V.D (born in 2003, residing in Thanh Hoa) was driving a motorbike with license plate 19L2-66.XX to violate at 0.820 mg/L of breath, which is more than twice the "framework" violation.
Presenting to the traffic police, Mr. D said that he was a high-altitude blacksmith. On the afternoon of March 25, when he had just finished work, he was invited by the host to drink beer.
Or the case of Mr. B.V.H (born in 1999, residing in Hanoi) violating the alcohol concentration at 0.461 mg/L of breath, this is also a "framework" violation.

In particular, the case of the driver driving a motorbike with license plate 18EA-001.XX was discovered by the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 6 to be suspicious, so he requested to stop the vehicle for inspection. As a result, this person violated at 1.166 mg/L of breath, 3 times the "framework" violation.
Previously, in Ba Dinh District, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 also discovered many cases of alcohol concentration violations exceeding the dramatic limit.
Typically, on Hoang Hoa Tham Street, the working group discovered 4 cases of violations exceeding the threshold of 0.4 mg/L of breath on the evening of March 14 and 1 case exceeding the threshold of more than 2.5 times (more than 1.0 mg/L of breath) on the evening of March 15.
"The rate of violations has decreased significantly compared to before, but there are still people who deliberately violate. Most of the violators are motorcyclists and mopeds, focusing on freelance groups, motorbike taxi drivers and the elderly", Major Mai Xuan Tu - Officer of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 shared.

In the coming time, in addition to propaganda work, the Hanoi Traffic Police will strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations, contributing to raising awareness of traffic law compliance and curbing traffic accidents in the city.
The inspection was strictly implemented, with no forbidden areas.
