A person in Kon Tum had to be hospitalized due to lightning

Kon Tum - A person in Dak Sao commune, Tu Mo Rong district, was injured by lightning in the thunderstorm on the afternoon of April 16.

On April 17, information from the People's Committee of Dak Sao commune, Tu Mo Rong district said that the victim was Mr. A Lang (residing in Kach Nho 2 village, Dak Sao commune).

At the time of the incident, Mr. A Lang's family of 5 people were living in the house when they were suddenly hit by lightning. The incident injured Mr. A Lang in the head and caused bleeding.

Immediately afterwards, relatives took him to the Commune Health Station for first aid, then transferred him to Kon Tum General Hospital for treatment.

Currently, Mr. A Lang's health is stable, not endangering his life, but he is still being monitored by doctors and nurses.

Immediately after receiving the information, the local authorities sent representatives to visit, encourage and support a part of the cost to help Mr. A Lang's family feel secure about treatment.

At around 3:00 p.m. on April 14, a group of 7 people from Ta Pon village (Dak Nong commune) were working on a farm in Dak Ang commune (Ngoc Hoi district, Kon Tum province) when they encountered heavy rain with thunderstorms and hail.

This group of people ran into a nearby hut to take shelter from the rain. Suddenly, a lightning hit the hut, causing Ms. Y Doi to die on the spot and the remaining 6 people to be injured.

Immediately after the incident, the victims were taken by local people to Ngoc Hoi Regional General Hospital for emergency care.
