The Department of Finance of Hai Duong province has just submitted to the Provincial People's Committee a report to the Provincial People's Council on the draft Resolution regulating the collection of fees and charges for online public service provision activities in the province.
The goal of issuing this Resolution is to encourage people and businesses to actively participate in the use of online public services, thereby promoting the efficiency of exploitation and use of online public services in Hai Duong province.
According to the draft Resolution, the fee and charge for online public service provision activities will be 0 VND, helping to reduce costs for people and businesses when performing online administrative procedures.
The subjects of application are organizations and individuals proposing to resolve administrative procedures through online public service provision that must pay fees and charges.
Public service agencies and units and organizations assigned by competent state agencies to provide online public services must collect fees and charges.
In the past, the regulation of the fee collection rate for providing online public services at 50% of the fee for direct public services has encouraged people and businesses in Hai Duong province to gradually approach the application of information technology and achieve certain results.
To continue to exploit and encourage the effective use of online public services, and increase the breakthrough in administrative reform in the province, it is necessary to issue a Resolution regulating the fee and charge for online public service provision lower than the current fee and charge level.
