Gia Lai - Responding to the campaign, a man voluntarily handed over an AK47 rifle kept by his father as a souvenir.

On May 14, An Khe Ward Police, Gia Lai province promoted propaganda on the management and use of weapons, explosives, and supporting tools; thereby mobilizing people to actively hand over weapons, explosives, and supporting tools.

The Regional Police force in charge of the area has coordinated with forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level to regularly go to each household to propagate and mobilize people to voluntarily hand over weapons and explosives.

Functional forces also conduct general inspections and reviews, combined with mobilizing people to sign commitments not to illegally possess or use weapons, explosives, and supporting tools.

Typically, on May 12, Mr. Le Binh (48 years old, residing in residential group 1 Tay Son, An Khe ward, Gia Lai province) voluntarily went to An Khe Ward Police to hand over 1 AK submachine gun, 27 bullets and 2 magazines.

Through working, Mr. Binh said that the above weapons belonged to his father and were kept as keepsakes after participating in the army. An Khe Ward Police have received all the above weapons and ammunition and handled them according to the provisions of law.
