On November 17, Thu Duc City Police (HCMC) coordinated with relevant units to investigate the cause of the man's unusual death.
Initial information, at more than 5 o'clock the same day, people living in the Thu Duc agricultural wholesale market area, Tam Binh ward, suddenly heard a loud noise on National Highway 1.
When they arrived, they found a man lying motionless on the median strip, next to a motorbike carrying a delivery basket in the car lane heading from Thu Duc City to District 12. Afterwards, the surrounding people immediately called the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, Thu Duc City Police and Binh Trieu Traffic Police Team (Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) arrived at the scene to examine and investigate the cause. The scene showed long skid marks on the road.
Because it happened in the morning, traffic through the area became congested after the accident.
