From early morning on May 19, Ba Dinh Square area and roads around President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum were crowded with people and tourists waiting to enter the Mausoleum to visit Uncle Ho.
Although the weather in Hanoi was hot from early morning, the line of people still lined up neatly, maintaining order in a solemn and emotional atmosphere. Right from about 5 am, many convoys from provinces and cities were present in the Ngoc Ha street area to wait to enter the Mausoleum.


Many people have traveled hundreds, even thousands of kilometers to return to the Capital on May 19. Although they have been to the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh many times or for the first time, everyone shares the same emotion and love for the beloved leader of the nation.
From about 6 am, Mrs. Bui Thi Xuan (58 years old, Ca Mau) and the delegation were present on Ngoc Ha street to wait to enter the Mausoleum. Although she had been to Hanoi to visit Uncle Ho many times, she still could not hide her emotion.


Every time I visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, I feel very happy and touched. Today, being able to come here with friends to express my gratitude to the Old Father of the nation, I feel very excited," Ms. Xuan shared.
Accompanying the delegation, Ms. Le Hong Hanh (55 years old, Nghe An) said that this is the first time she has visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, so the emotions are very special.
I feel very touched and proud. Being able to visit Uncle Ho soon is extremely meaningful to me," Ms. Hanh said.

Not only the elderly, but also many young people were present at Ba Dinh Square early to take photos and save memories on this special day. Many people wore ao dai, carrying red flags with yellow stars, expressing pride and affection for President Ho Chi Minh.
Along with the crowd entering the Mausoleum on the morning of May 19, Ms. Ngoc Thi Diem (38 years old, Bac Giang) also took her children to Hanoi to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. She said she had asked for leave from work so that the whole family could have a meaningful day together, helping her children understand more about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.
Not only domestic people, many international tourists also came to visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum on this occasion. Mr. Dustin (73 years old, British tourist) said that after knowing that May 19th was President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, he and his family decided to visit Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.

I feel a very special atmosphere here. Everyone is happy and excited before entering Uncle Ho's Mausoleum and I feel the same way," Mr. Dustin shared.
According to the Command of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, in the morning of May 19, there were nearly 7,000 visitors to the Mausoleum to visit Uncle Ho, including nearly 1,500 international visitors.
On this occasion, the Command of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh in coordination with the Hanoi Department of Tourism also organized the free distribution of drinking water, bread and milk to serve people and international visitors to visit Uncle Ho. This is a regular activity maintained during major holidays and anniversaries at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh.

After visiting Uncle Ho's Mausoleum, many people continued to visit the Ho Chi Minh Museum to visit and learn more about his life and revolutionary activities. In the atmosphere of the historic May, the silent flow of people to Ba Dinh not only expressed their respect for President Ho Chi Minh but also showed the special affection of the people across the country for the beloved leader of the nation.
