Among them, citizen Nguyen Phu Quy (My Thanh commune) voluntarily enlisted with a spirit of willingness to contribute. Graduating from Long An College majoring in Industrial Electricity, Quy could choose to work according to his expertise. However, he decided to fulfill his duty and was assigned to Brigade 98 - a high-tech electronic warfare unit.

According to Quy's sharing, the foundation of electrical - electronic knowledge trained will support him in the process of approaching the military environment, especially in fields that require technical qualifications and technological thinking. Quy believes that the military environment not only helps to train bravery and discipline but also creates conditions to continue to improve expertise and contribute to the task of protecting the Fatherland.
Born into a family with revolutionary traditions, relatives who participated in youth volunteers and performed international missions, Quy considers enlistment as a responsibility, and also an opportunity to continue family traditions.
According to the Provincial Military Service Council, in 2026, Tay Ninh province has 4,442 young people selected for military service and performing the duty to participate in the People's Police. Of which, 3,650 citizens perform military service; 792 citizens perform the duty to participate in the People's Police; 72 party members enlist.

The quality of new recruits continues to be improved with 3,092 young people with high school or higher education; the rate of intermediate, college, and university degrees reaches 30.39%. The health rate of type 1 and type 2 accounts for 69.06%, meeting the requirements of building a regular and elite force.
Speaking at the military recruitment ceremony in Thu Thua commune, Mr. Le Van Han - Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the enlistment day is an important political event, showing the responsibility and pride of local youth in the task of protecting the Fatherland.
