Forecast the time cold air will start to appear
Recently, the National Center for Hydrometeorological Forecasting has released a seasonal hydrometeorological forecast newsletter nationwide (ie from September 2024 to February 2025).
The meteorological agency said that cold air began to appear in September but did not rule out the possibility that there would still be local heat in the North.

Ho Chi Minh City determines the time to start construction on the National Highway 13 expansion project
The National Highway 13 expansion project has just been included in the list of typical city-level emulation projects by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national unification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
In order to promptly start the expansion of National Highway 13 on April 30, 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport said it is urgently organizing the preparation of a pre-feasibility study report for the project. It is expected to submit to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council for appraisal and approval of the project's investment policy in the fourth quarter of this year.

Mass landslides on Dien Bien national highways
The heavy rain that occurred on the night of August 24 and early morning of August 25 caused a series of landslides on National Highway 12 and National Highway 279 in Dien Bien province. By 11 a.m. this morning, most landslides had been temporarily repaired, ensuring the passage of vehicles was clear.
