Grade 1 students in Ho Chi Minh City beamed back to school
On the morning of August 19, many elementary schools in Ho Chi Minh City held back-to-school events for first grade students.
From about 6:30 a.m., at Phan Van Tri Primary School (District 1), a large number of parents took their children to back to school.
Many students coming to a new elementary school for the first time were confused and worried. The school has arranged rows of chairs in the schoolyard area so that parents can sit together and return to school with their children.
