Metro Line 1 completes inspection, ready to carry passengers from December 22
On November 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Railway Management Board (MAUR) announced that 17 trains on Metro Line 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien) have been affixed with inspection stamps.
This is an important completion step, bringing Ho Chi Minh City's first metro line closer to its official opening date on December 22, 2024.
According to MAUR, Metro Line 1 has completed 100% of the construction volume and is currently in the stage of system safety assessment and final acceptance.

Plan to install cameras to monitor littering at Cai Rang Floating Market

Mr. Nguyen said that recently, the People's Committee of Le Binh Ward invited households living on rafts and vegetable farms along the Can Tho River embankment to meet at the Yen Thuan Information House to propagate and sign a commitment to put garbage in the right place and protect the surrounding environment.

Building a unique tunnel connecting Nha Trang and Cam Ranh airport
Khanh Hoa province is researching the construction of a long tunnel through Cu Hin mountain, forming an additional traffic route connecting Nha Trang with Cam Ranh airport.
In November 2024, the Department of Transport of Khanh Hoa province issued a decision approving the Plan for selecting contractors for the preparation phase of the project to build a tunnel through Cu Hin mountain, connecting from Song Lo, Phuoc Dong commune (Nha Trang) to Cam Hai Dong commune (Cam Lam district).
