Long Thanh airport welcomes the first standard flight
On the morning of September 26, Long Thanh airport (Long Thanh commune) officially welcomed the first standard flight.
At around 6:00 a.m. on September 26, the Beechcraft KingAir 300 series commercial aircraft taking off from Tan Son Nhat airport approached the Long Thanh sky to conduct inspection flights.
Here, the plane approached the low on runway 1 and flew over the runway to check the lighting system and then accelerated to fly up high again.
This flight not only conducts field inspections of runways but also carries out important tasks such as standardizing a series of aviation guidance and monitoring equipment systems in Long Thanh, including 2 ILS/DME systems, 2 PAPI systems, ALS, VOR/DME lighting systems, primary/quarter-level radar (PSR/SSR), ADS-B and related flight methods using signals.

On September 26, Quang Ngai Provincial Police said that since the beginning of 2025, Quang Ngai Provincial Police and relevant agencies have received and rescued nearly 10 people who were tricked into leaving the country to go to Cambodia, many of whom were tricked into going abroad to sell kidneys. After being scammed through Cambodia, the victim was taken to work at establishments that organized fraud activities such as: online gambling, virtual currency trading ... in cyberspace.
Many cases of fleeing without a ransom have been beaten, mistreated or sold to different establishments by employers.

Dismantling a disguised drug ring in packaging milk and candy from Europe to Vietnam
On September 26, Nghe An Provincial Police announced that they had just dismantled a transnational drug trafficking ring via air from France to Vietnam.
Drugs are disguised as packaging for milk and candy sent from Europe to Vietnam, then classified and packaged for domestic consumption.
The authorities arrested 2 subjects, seized 21 kg of ketamine (including 4 kg hidden in 4 plastic bags placed in foam boxes and 17 kg contained in 34 boxes of foreign milk with labels), and some related exhibits.
