HCMC announces temporary closure of the Saigon River tunnel
Ho Chi Minh City prohibits vehicles from traveling through the Saigon River tunnel in both directions from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on September 23, 24 and 26.
On September 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction issued a notice on adjusting traffic organization at the Saigon River crossing tunnel (Thu Thiem tunnel) to serve the practice of fire fighting, rescue and relief solutions in 2025.

Super typhoon Ragasa makes landfall with destructive winds of 295 km/h, about to enter the East Sea
On the afternoon of September 22, super typhoon Ragasa made landfall in the northern Philippines, with gusts of up to 295 km/h.
The latest storm information from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said that at 3:00 p.m. on September 22 local time (14:00 p.m. Vietnam time), the center of super typhoon Ragasa was located on Panuitan Island in Calayan, Cagayan Province, Northern Philippines, at about 19.4 degrees North latitude; 121.5 degrees East longitude.
The central pressure dropped sharply to 916mb, the strongest wind near the center of the super typhoon was 215-260 km/h, gusting over 295 km/h (above level 17). The super typhoon is moving in a West-Northwest direction at a speed of about 22-25 km/h.

Landslide on the Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal road

A limestone mountain located right next to the Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal road was seriously eroded, causing some tons of rocks to fall onto the road.
The location of the landslide is at km 6, Ha Long - Cam Pha coastal road, in Quang Hanh ward, Quang Ninh province.
According to Mr. Le Quang Tien - Vice Chairman of Quang Hanh Ward People's Committee, the rocky mountain collapsed this afternoon; the initial cause was due to the heavy rain in recent days due to the erosion.
