To contribute to improving the spiritual life of local people, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere during the Lunar New Year 2025, the People's Committee of Dien Bien province will organize fireworks displays at 6 low-altitude locations, using socialized funding.
Specifically, in Dien Bien Phu City, the low-altitude firing point at the dual-lane area at the entrance to the Provincial Party Committee Headquarters has a scale of 120 platforms, with an estimated implementation cost of 655 million VND.
The remaining 5 locations are in the following areas: Tuan Giao District Conference Center; Hoa Ban Square, Muong Ang District; Tua Chua Town Stadium, Tua Chua District; Muong Nhe District Central Square; Nam Po District Central Square. These low-altitude fireworks display locations have a scale of 90 sets, with an estimated cost of 512 million VND/location.
Fireworks display time at the above locations starts from 0:00-0:15 on January 29, 2025 (the first day of the Lunar New Year).
In the announcement on the policy of organizing low-altitude fireworks display on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee encourages and supports Muong Lay town to call for socialized funding to carry out low-altitude fireworks display (if qualified). Directing the Provincial Military Command to closely coordinate with relevant localities to agree on location, time, and organization of implementation to ensure absolute safety, security and order in the area, economically, appropriately and in accordance with regulations.
