On June 13, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Hac Thanh Ward Police had just discovered and arrested a group of subjects for illegal drug use.
Previously, on June 8, during an administrative inspection at house number 21, Ham Nghi street, Hac Thanh ward, the task force of Hac Thanh Ward Police discovered in the bedroom of the house 3 subjects including: Doan Van Luan (born 1989), Trinh Cong Anh (born 2001), both residing in Xuan Lap commune, Thanh Hoa province and Pham Ba Manh (born 1986), residing in Hac Thanh ward, Thanh Hoa province, showing suspicious signs related to illegal use of drugs.
During the inspection, the police force discovered and seized 1 set of tools used to illegally use drugs, including a plastic bottle with a homemade straw, a piece of silver paper, a lighter and a nylon bag.
Initial investigation, the subjects confessed to contributing money to buy pink pills for use at Doan Van Luan's house.
Continuing to check Doan Van Luan's body, the task force discovered and seized 2 pink pills hidden by the subject for personal use.
Hac Thanh Ward Police made a record, sealed the exhibits according to regulations, and at the same time completed the initial file and handed over the subjects and exhibits to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police to continue investigating and handling according to their authority.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and clarified.
