On the evening of October 6, Can Tho City Police said that, continuing to strictly implement the direction of the Ministry of Public Security on strengthening the fight against, prevention and repelling drug abuse, the unit has synchronously deployed professional measures, proactively grasped the situation, promptly detected and handled drug-related cases right from the grassroots.

Accordingly, Cai Rang Ward Police (Can Tho City) promptly detected and handled 2 cases, 9 subjects organizing the illegal use and possession of drugs, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.

At about 1:00 a.m. on October 6, 2025, upon receiving a report from the public about a group of subjects gathering suspected of using drugs at house LK10-32, road No. 9, High-Tech Residential Area, area 4, Cai Rang Ward, Cai Rang Ward Police quickly deployed forces and conducted an administrative inspection of the above location.

At the scene, the Cai Rang Ward Police discovered 9 subjects renting 2 rooms in the above house to organize the illegal use and storage of drugs.

At the ground floor room, there were 6 subjects (3 men, 3 women) including: N.T.N (born in 1994, Tan Phuoc Hung commune, Can Tho city); C.T.H.Y (born in 1997, An Giang province); L.P.V (born in 2000, Bac Lieu ward, Ca Mau province); L.P.A.K (born in 1997, An Binh ward, Can Tho city); N.T.C.T (born in 2007, Dong Thuan commune, Can Tho city); H.T.A.M (born in 1997, Vinh Thuan Dong commune, Can Tho city).

The seized exhibits include: 1 white round porcelain plate on the surface containing white powder suspected to be drugs, 1 citizen identification card No. 0863000082XX containing powder suspected to be drugs, 1 10,000 VND bills of money in circulation containing powder suspected to be drugs, 1 blue plastic pipe, 1 black plastic bag containing powder suspected to be drugs.

In addition, along with many other exhibits including: 1 speaker, 1 lamp, 10 mobile phones, 1 tablet, 5 black handbags, 2 leather wallets, 1 transparent cosmetic bag, 1 black suitcase, 1 watch and 400,000 VND in cash.

The third floor room has 3 subjects (2 men, 1 woman) including: P.H.N.N (born in 1988, Ninh Kieu ward, Can Tho city); L.T.Q.N (born in 2005; no permanent registration address); P.T.H.H (born in 1991, An Binh ward, Can Tho city).

The seized exhibits include: 1 set of broken crystal alcohol bottles, 3 packages of white crystals that the subject claimed were crystal meth, 3 mobile phones.
