On June 22, news from Tay Nha Trang Ward Police said that they are deploying a peak period of drug prevention and control with the motto "Going to each alley, knocking on each house, screening each subject, each area of suspicion related to drugs".
On the first day of deployment, the working groups conducted inspections and reviews at 68 rows of boarding houses and 134 households in the ward.
Through rapid testing, functional forces discovered 9 cases with positive results for drugs.
Currently, Tay Nha Trang Ward Police are continuing to verify, consolidate dossiers and handle violations according to the provisions of law.
Along with inspection and review work, Tay Nha Trang Ward Police also organized propaganda at Residential Group 10, 11, 12 Vinh Hoi for residential group officials and boarding house business households.
The content of propaganda focuses on raising awareness of complying with regulations on residence registration, proactively detecting and denouncing crimes, especially acts related to drugs.
Tay Nha Trang Ward Police said that the review, detection and handling of cases related to drugs is a regular task to contribute to maintaining security and order, and protecting the peaceful life of people.
Functional agencies also call on people to raise vigilance, proactively prevent drugs, pay attention to managing and educating children in the family and promptly inform functional forces when signs of violation are detected.
