Firewood boat discovered storing more than 12m3 of sand of unknown origin on Tien River

Vinh Long - While patrolling the Tien River, Thanh Tri Commune Police discovered a wooden boat storing more than 12m3 of sand but did not present legal documents.

On November 18, Vinh Long Provincial Police said that Thanh Tri Commune Police are continuing to complete the file to handle the case in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring objectivity and correct order.

According to initial records, at about 4:05 p.m. on November 13, the Thanh Tri Commune Police force coordinated with Loc Thuan Commune Police to patrol and control the Tien River in Ben Cat Hamlet.

Here, the authorities discovered and made a record of an unlicensed wooden boat driven by L.V.P, born in 1985, residing in Hoa Phuoc Hamlet, Hoa Loc Commune, showing signs of violation.

At the time of inspection, the vehicle was anchored and storing 12.685 m3 of sand for leveling, but the driver could not present invoices or documents to prove the legal origin of all the minerals.

After checking and making a record, Thanh Tri Commune Police invited Mr. L.V.P to the headquarters for further verification and consolidation of evidence to handle according to the provisions of law.
