On June 11, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that through grasping the situation and reviewing signs of legal violations in cyberspace, Phu Ly Ward Police discovered that Nguyen Thi My L (born in 1988, residing in Phu Van ward, Ninh Binh province) had the act of organizing the illegal trading of lottery numbers and lottery numbers via smartphones, social networks and bank accounts.
Initial verification results showed that subject L received lottery and lottery boards by phone, then made transactions by bank transfer to limit direct contact and conceal violations.
Currently, the Task Force has seized many documents, objects and related means to serve the investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
Through the above incident, Phu Ly Ward Police recommends that people raise awareness of law compliance, not participate in gambling in any form; not buy and sell illegal lottery numbers; not assist gambling activities in cyberspace. When detecting acts showing signs of legal violations, people need to promptly notify the Police agency to be received and handled according to regulations.
