In the early morning of September 5, Tan An Ward Police (Can Tho City) received a report from people about a group of young people gathering to use drugs at Mini House Tien Nguyen building (at 54A2A, Bung Xang Street, Tan An Ward).
Immediately after receiving the report, the ward police force quickly inspected room 301, 3rd floor, Mini House Tien Nguyen building, and discovered 3 subjects, including: Nguyen The Le Man (born in 2004, Binh Chanh area, Long Tuyen ward, Can Tho city), Ngo Van Linh (born in 2000, Van Thang commune, Ninh Binh province) and Nguyen Thanh Phap (born in 2004, Yen Ha area, Cai Rang ward, Can Tho city) along with many drug use tools. At the time of the inspection, the subjects had finished using the drugs, and the evidence was still on the spot.
Through initial struggle, Ngo Van Linh admitted to buying drugs for 1.5 million VND from Nguyen Tuan Anh (born in 1998, Binh Pho A area, Long Tuyen ward, Can Tho city) for the whole group to use.
Previously, on August 16, this group gathered to use drugs at the same location where Truong Thai Ngoc Han (a French girlfriend) gave Linh money to buy.
Tan An Ward Police continue to coordinate with professional units to investigate and clarify the case and handle it according to the provisions of law.
