Nghia Do Ward opens the First Sports Festival in 2025

Hanoi In order to spread and promote the mass sports movement, on November 2, Nghia Do ward opened the first Sports Festival in 2025.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Phan Thi Thu Ha - Vice Chairman of Nghia Do Ward People's Committee said that over thousands of years of building and defending the country, the Vietnamese people have always been a vivid testament to physical strength and resilience. Immersing in President Ho Chi Minh's teachings: "Each weak people means a weak country, every healthy people means a healthy country. When there is a strong people, the country will flourish".

In recent years, under the leadership of local authorities, the Nghia Do sports and physical training movement has developed strongly, attracting a large number of people to participate in regular training. Many clubs and sports teams have been established and maintained effectively, contributing to improving public health, promoting socio-economic development and building a civilized and happy life. Thereby, the Vice Chairman of Nghia Do Ward People's Committee emphasized that health is everything. Health is a real asset and the most valuable treasure of people. It is also the foundation for life and all activities of society.

Ms. Ha affirmed that the First Nghia Do Ward Sports Festival is not only a festival of sportsmanship but also an opportunity to discover and nurture outstanding athletes representing the ward to attend the 11th Hanoi Sports Festival. This is also an opportunity to summarize and evaluate the local sports movement, draw lessons to continue developing the sports movement to new heights.

The first Nghia Do Ward Sports Festival in 2025 will open a new journey, where youth and sportsmanship continue to spread strongly in the community. After the Congress, Nghia Do Ward will continue to promote the socialization of sports and physical training, expand the club network, invest in facilities and exercise equipment, and create conditions for all people to exercise regularly.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Ms. Phan Thi Thu Ha called on the athletes to compete with the spirit of "Solidarity - Truoc - Cao Cao Cao", determined to achieve high results; at the same time, she requested the referee team to work fairly, objectively and in accordance with the regulations to contribute to the overall success of the Congress.
