On September 18, the leader of Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee (Nghe An) said that in September 2025, local authorities have taken drastic measures to handle land encroachment, illegal construction, and violations of urban order.
On September 17, 2025 at 2:40 p.m., Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee inspected a plot of land in Block 9 Nghi Phu, Vinh Phu Ward, and discovered that Mr. Ho Van Lam was illegally erecting a house made of corrugated iron and iron with an area of 15.4m x 4.3m; rent: 15.4m x7.3m.
At the time of inspection, violators were aware of their violations and asked to automatically dismantle illegal construction works on the land, returning them to their original state.
On the same day, September 17, the People's Committee of the ward drew up a record of administrative violations occurring at plot No. 311; 319, map sheet No. 09 (old Nghi Phu ward) in block 3 Nghi Phu. The violation is converting land originating from rice-growing land ( northern land for cultivation) to non-agricultural land. The People's Committee of the ward has organized the dismantling of 3 concrete culverts and 3 concrete pillars. The violator was absent, the recording was witnessed by the bloc's executive committee and government representatives.
On September 10, the People's Committee of the ward drew up a record of the encroachment on the sidewalk on Le Nin Avenue of Dai Duong Restaurant and Tuan Thuy's ornamental fish and glass tank shop. The roof frame works, fish tanks, and iron frames in violation were dismantled by the owners on the same day.
On September 9, the People's Committee of the ward handled illegal construction at plots of land No. 47, 48, map sheet No. 95 (old Nghi Duc 10 sheet) in Xuan Trang block. The violating works include embankments, iron frames, and corrugated iron roofs with an area of 36m2 that have been dismantled.
On September 8, at plot number 232, map sheet number 13 (old Nghi Phu), block 8 Nghi Phu, the People's Committee of the ward also drew up a record of administrative violations and organized the demolition of the iron frame and corrugated iron roof of 42m2.
Previously, on July 25, the People's Committee of the ward issued Decision No. 334/QD-XPHC to fine Mr. Nguyen Van Nam for constructing another project that was not in accordance with the planning at plots of land D1-15, D1-16 of the Minh Khang Urban Area project. On September 3, Mr. Nam complied with the fine of VND 55 million and dismantled the illegal construction.
The leader of Vinh Phu Ward People's Committee affirmed that he will continue to strengthen inspection and thoroughly handle violations to restore discipline in land management and construction.
