As of November 14, through propaganda work, the Commune Police force has received 2 guns voluntarily handed over by the people, including 1 AR15, 1 homemade hunting gun and a number of knives, swords and other dangerous support tools.
Through direct propaganda at the grassroots level, the Commune Police force has mobilized many cases to voluntarily hand over weapons and support tools such as guns, homemade hunting guns, knives, swords and other dangerous vehicles. Notably, recently a local resident proactively went to the commune police headquarters to hand over an AR15 gun picked up when dismantling the old construction. This action clearly demonstrates the sense of responsibility, awareness of law compliance and the people's trust in the People's Public Security force.
At the reception, Phu Tan Commune Police followed the correct receipt process, made a record of handover, sealing and managing the weapons according to regulations. At the same time, police officers praised the self-awareness of citizens, further disseminated legal regulations in the management and use of weapons, explosives, and support tools, to prevent and stop violations and ensure safety for the community.
Phu Tan Commune Police continue to call on all people to raise awareness, actively coordinate with the police force in detecting, handing over or providing information related to the illegal storage, use, and trading of weapons and explosive materials for supporting tools.
