On the afternoon of October 23, the working delegation of the Military Region 9 Command led by Major General Nguyen Minh Trieu, Deputy Commander of the Military Region, had a working session with the People's Committee of An Giang province on the management and use of national defense land in the area.
At the meeting, the Military Region 9 Command presented the contents on removing difficulties and obstacles related to defense projects in An Giang province. The two sides discussed and discussed solutions to remove difficulties in the management and use of defense land managed by the Military Region and its affiliated units in the province. At the same time, consider issues related to compensation and clearance when implementing defense projects and works.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ngo Cong Thuc requested relevant departments and branches to closely coordinate with the Military Region, grasp the situation of land management and use, especially for areas serving the purpose of combining national defense and economy, in order to effectively exploit the value of land use, contributing to local socio-economic development.
