On June 5, information from the Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union said that the unit had just issued an urgent warning related to the appearance of fake accounts and social networking sites impersonating the organizers of the "Military Summer Camp" Program 2026 to defraud and appropriate property.
According to Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union, although this year's program has officially completed the enrollment and finalized the list of participating students, and the Organizing Committee affirmed that it will not accept any more applications in any form, an account named "Military Summer Camp 2026" still appears on social networks.
This fake account has sophisticatedly used the real address of the Quang Tri Provincial Youth and Children's Activity Center (No. 26 Hung Vuong Street, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri province) as a gathering place for children to create trust. Next, this page posted content promoting the program "designed according to the orientation of the Youth Union and the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, helping to comprehensively train young soldiers", thereby guiding gullible parents to carry out procedures and transfer money to participate.
Faced with the above situation, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union affirmed that all information provided by the account "Hoc Ky Quan Doi 2026" is fake.
The Organizing Committee requests parents and students to be extremely vigilant, carefully check the official information sources from the Provincial Youth Union, and absolutely not to make any financial transactions or provide personal information to the above-mentioned fake page to avoid being exploited and profiteering by bad actors.
