Digitalizing Spring Newspapers, spreading the reading culture at the beginning of the year in Quang Ninh

Quang Ninh - Not only displaying more than 300 publications, the 2026 Spring Book and Newspaper Fair also digitizes data, expands the newspaper reading space through QR codes and online platforms.

On February 12, at the Quang Ninh Provincial Museum - Library, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the opening ceremony of the Binh Ngo Spring Book - Newspaper Festival 2026.

This year's Spring Press Festival is organized with a multi-point scale, rich content, innovative forms, continuing to affirm itself as a cultural - journalistic highlight every Tet and Spring occasion.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Standing Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association Do Ngoc Ha emphasized: The new point of this year's Spring Book and Newspaper Fair is the scale of displaying more than 300 rich Spring newspaper and magazine publications.

In 54 communes, wards, and special zones, readers can easily access Tet newspapers and magazines through QR code scanning on smartphones set up by the Provincial Journalists Association.

This model helps expand the space for reading newspapers, creating conditions for cadres, party members, people and soldiers of the armed forces to read Spring Newspapers anytime, anywhere.

Along with digitizing publications, the provincial Spring Press Festival space is designed modernly, combining traditional journalism with 3D Mapping and Holographic projection technology; arranging a calligraphy - Spring couplet experience area, creative check-in area...

In parallel with provincial-level activities, the Provincial Journalists Association organized the Spring Press Festival at the grassroots level, such as in Tai Ly Say village, Quang Tan commune; and presented gifts to households in difficult circumstances.

Combining traditional displays with data digitization not only improves propaganda effectiveness but also spreads reading culture, affirming the role of revolutionary journalism in social life, creating a joyful and excited atmosphere to enter the new year 2026.
