On May 7, information from the Traffic Police Department (CSGT), Soc Trang Provincial Police - is expected to organize a car driving test on May 15. This is the first time the Traffic Police Department has taken on the role of organizing driving tests and licensing, after this function was previously transferred from the Department of Transport of Soc Trang province.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Tan Ben - Head of the Traffic Police Department, Soc Trang Provincial Police said that the Board of Directors and the unit have conducted 2 field surveys at the Thang Long Vocational Education Center for Driving Training and Testing (Ward 10, Soc Trang City). Through the inspection, all conditions for organizing the exam are met in accordance with current regulations.
After the exam on May 15, the Traffic Police Department, Soc Trang Provincial Police will deploy a plan to organize monthly periodic tests for both cars and motorbikes. In case the number of registered candidates is large, it can be organized 2 rounds per month, with a scale of about 300 candidates per round.
In addition, motorbike testing will also be held in localities such as Vinh Chau town, Nga Nam town, Thanh Tri district and Cu Lao Dung district to facilitate people.

According to statistics, the whole province currently has over 7,000 students waiting for the exam, including more than 4,000 students studying motorbikes and over 3,000 students studying cars. After completing the driving test, students will be granted a driver's license for no more than 15 days.
Currently, Soc Trang has 4 driving training centers, including 3 training centers for both motorbikes and cars, including: Hung Thinh Vocational Education - Car driving training center, Thang Long center and Soc Trang Driving and Training center for trains.
