On May 12, the Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police Department is temporarily detaining Nguyen Hoang Trung (37 years old, residing in Phuoc An Commune, Nhon Trach District) to investigate the act of intentionally damaging property.
Earlier, at noon on May 8, Trung was driving a motorbike from home to work, when he reached the intersection in front of his house, he saw the car of Mr. L.V.S (34 years old, also living in Phuoc An commune) parked at the intersection encroaching on the road, obstructing the way. Trung immediately returned home and took a machete and slashed the windshield 4 times, causing the glass to break.
After receiving the victim's report, through investigation and arrest, on May 9, Phuoc An Commune Police arrested Trung and seized a machete at his house in Ba Truong Hamlet.
Through the investigation, the police also determined that on the evening of April 26, Trung also used a machete to slash the right rear light of the rear of the car of Mr. N.D.C (38 years old, also living in Phuoc An commune) as a broken light.
The Investigation Police Agency of the Provincial Police is expanding the investigation and handling the subject according to the provisions of the law.
