On December 26, according to Ninh Binh Provincial Police, the Investigation Police Agency (Economic Police Department) is temporarily detaining Pham Xuan Truong (born in 2002, residing in Yen Tu commune, Ninh Binh province) to investigate the act of producing prohibited goods (exploding fireworks).
Previously, on December 24, during reconnaissance and grasping the situation and area, the Task Force of the Economic Police Department of the Provincial Police in coordination with Yen Tu Commune Police inspected, discovered, and caught Pham Xuan Truong red-handed preparing to pack fireworks at home to prepare to sell for profit.
At the scene, the Task Force seized 25 homemade fireworks weighing about 11kg. Conducting an emergency search of Truong's residence, seizing equipment and machinery (grinders, mixers, trays, filter baskets, electronic scales) and more than 30 types of chemicals used as raw materials for mixing fireworks production.
Through struggle, Truong confessed to learning how to make firecrackers and buying equipment and chemicals on social networks, then mixing and producing firecrackers to sell for profit.
