On September 16, a group of young people organized a ceremony to present 90 tickets to watch the movie Red Rain to veterans in Tam Long, Ba Ria, and Long Huong wards.
Previously, the group had contacted the Veterans Association to find out the list and number of members. Then contact BaRia Cinema to book tickets.
However, upon learning the information, the cinema proactively supported a 50% discount on ticket prices, and at the same time prepared drinking water for veterans. To create a highlight, each bottle of water is also covered with the image of the national flag. Thereby, the screening was a complete success, bringing many emotions to the veterans in the area.
In Vung Tau ward, Mr. Nguyen Tan Ban - Secretary of the Vung Tau Ward Party Committee - connected the mobilization, thereby supporting and presenting 100 tickets to watch the Red Rain film to veterans in the area. The screening took place at 8:30 a.m. the same day, on the 3rd floor of the Lotte Shopping Center.
It is known that the film "Red Rain" was released on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2. The film is inspired by the 81 days and nights of fighting to protect Quang Tri ancient citadel in 1972, depicting the portrait of young soldiers and the resilient people in the war. Giving movie tickets to veterans is considered a meaningful gift, showing care and gratitude to the previous generation.
