The film "Nha mat ro" marks the return to cinema of director Truong Dung - who made a deep impression on television audiences through a series of popular works such as Song Da, danh danh hoa, Dung nho... and especially Me con Dau Dau Dau Da - the film that created a fever during the 1998 Lunar New Year.
After more than a decade since working together in TV series, Quang Tuan and director Truong Dung had the opportunity to reunite in their first film project. With a nearly 20-year career and especially outstanding in horror films such as That Son Linh Linh, Bong De, Quy Cau, Quy Nhap Trang, in 2025, he will continue to attract attention with the role of Tu Dap in "The Earth: Sun in the dark", proving his ability to transform into diverse, rich inner strength.
Besides Quang Tuan, "Nha ma thu" also brings together talented actors such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Hang, Van Trang, Huynh Dong, Lan Thy, Hoang Kim Ngoc, Lam Thanh Nha, Vuong Khang... The names have appeared in many major projects, recognized for their acting ability and inner depth.
According to producer Mega GS, "House of a Drug addict" is not simply a horror film with scams, but also has spiritual, emotional elements and the typical humorous colors of Vietnamese rural life. It is the interweaving of emotions and the depth of folk culture that promises to bring an attractive entertainment work rich in Vietnamese quality.
The film is expected to premiere from October 24, 2025, right in the Halloween festival season - the ideal time for scary, thrilling stories to be told through the lens of Vietnamese cinema.
