Nghe An - On March 28, the Provincial Journalists Association organized a training course on "skills in producing and developing journalism content, applying artificial intelligence (AI)".

The training course attracted more than 100 members, reporters, and editors from press agencies in the province to participate.

The training course took place over two days, March 28-29, with the guidance of lecturer Ngo Tran Thinh, Head of Multimedia Department, Ho Chi Minh City Television News Center (HTV). In the program, students have access to knowledge and skills on production, developing press content on digital platforms, as well as applying artificial intelligence to optimize the working process.

One of the key contents is the practice of using Gemini artificial intelligence tools. The lecturer guided how to apply Gemini to aspects such as searching and verifying information, creating headlines and news summaries, supporting writing and editing, as well as producing multimedia content such as videos, information graphics and podcast.

In addition to practicing directly on AI tools, students also participated in discussions and shared experiences in applying technology in journalism activities. The lecturer emphasized that AI is a supporting tool, cannot replace the role of journalists, and at the same time promoted moral responsibility when using technology in content creation.

The training course is a practical activity of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, contributing to improving the professional qualifications and skills of members, thereby promoting the development of local journalism in the digital age.
