On March 3, Ship 741 of Naval Flotilla 129 supported the transportation of a fisherman in distress at sea to hand over to Truong Sa Medical Center for emergency treatment.
Previously, fisherman N.V.T (born in 1979) on fishing vessel BD-99846. TS was fishing in the Da Lat island area (belonging to Truong Sa special zone, Khanh Hoa province) when he suddenly suffered a stroke with symptoms of paralysis of limbs, slurred speech, difficulty chewing and swallowing.
The fishermen on the fishing boat contacted and took the patient to Da Lat Island to ask for support. After examining the preliminary health status and not being able to be treated, the Island Commander contacted Ship 741 (Navy Flotilla 129) to request support.
After receiving the order, ship 741 quickly maneuvered, received the patient on board and transported him from Da Lat island to Truong Sa Medical Center for emergency and treatment.
During the movement, staff on board, along with doctors of Truong Sa Medical Center accompanying the ship, also coordinated to take care of the patient's health.
