On December 23, Phu Quoc Express Joint Stock Company sent a notice to agents about the resumption schedule of the Thang Long high-speed boat with more than 1,000 seats on the Vung Tau - Con Dao route.
According to this schedule, Thang Long ship will operate again from February 7, 2025, transporting passengers from Vung Tau to Con Dao.
Then on February 9, 2025, it will turn around and bring passengers back to Vung Tau.
On average, in 1 week, Thang Long ship will have 2 trips from Vung Tau to Con Dao, and 2 trips from Con Dao back to Vung Tau.
Speaking with Lao Dong, a representative of Phu Quoc Express said that due to weather effects, since September 2024, the Thang Long high-speed train has temporarily stopped operating and will only anchor in Vung Tau City.
At the end of the year, the sea is still rough due to the weather, and there are also few tourists choosing to take the boat to Con Dao, so the unit has temporarily stopped operating vehicles on this route.
As expected, by February 2025 the sea will be calm again, so the unit will resume operations on the Vung Tau - Con Dao route to serve residents and tourists.
