The theme of this year's contest is the historical, cultural and economic values of Thai Nguyen tea trees and the tea industry. Honoring collectives and individuals associated with the craft of growing, preserving and promoting the values of Thai Nguyen tea. At the same time, it proposed new ideas in preserving and developing the tea brand.
The writing contest "one hundred years of famous tea" aims to affirm and promote the position and great values of the Thai Nguyen tea industry. Encourage creativity and research to arouse pride in this type of tree.
The contest also contributes to promoting tea production and business activities in the area. Thereby, stimulating tourism associated with the Thai Nguyen tea and tea culture. The works participating in the contest are a source of documents to introduce and promote the land and people of Thai Nguyen.
The contestants are Vietnamese citizens and overseas Vietnamese, not violating Vietnamese law.
The article can be accompanied by a photo or a short clip of less than 3 minutes illustration. The work must be written in Vietnamese, has never been published in the media, and has not participated in other contests. The maximum length of the work is 2,000 words, the thesis has many periods (no more than 03 periods) and the maximum is 4,500 words.
The time to submit and receive entries is from March 1, 2025 to 7:00 a.m. on August 20, 2025. The preliminary and final judging time is in September 2025. The award ceremony will be concluded and awarded in October 2025.
Tea is a key agricultural product of the country and Thai Nguyen province.
In 2024, the tea growing area of Thai Nguyen province will reach over 22,000 hectares. Fresh bulb output reached over 272.8 thousand tons, the value of tea products reached 13.8 trillion VND.
Thai Nguyen is currently the locality with the largest area, output, income value from tea trees, as well as product value collected on 1ha of tea land in the country.
