On October 27, Chi Lang Ward Police (An Giang) said that they had detained two subjects, Tran Thanh Khai (born in 2004, residing in Ba Chuc Commune, An Giang Province) and Lai Van Loc (born in 2000, residing in Chi Lang Ward, An Giang Province) to investigate the act of "Illegal possession and trading of drugs".
Previously, the Patrol and Control Team to ensure security and order of Chi Lang Ward Police discovered that Tran Thanh Khai had suspicious signs, so they conducted an inspection. When the patrol team saw Tran Thanh Khai, they threw a black bag to the ground. The ward police force conducted an inspection and found white crystalline particles suspected to be drugs.
Through quick investigation, Khai confessed that the crystal particles were drugs, purchased by the subject from Lai Van Loc through social networks, and were discovered by the police before they could use them. At the police station, the two subjects admitted their violations.
Currently, Chi Lang Ward Police continue to verify and clarify the behavior of the subjects to handle them according to the provisions of the law.
