On September 20, the functional forces of Hoc Mon commune coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police to search for a young man fishing at the foot of Xang bridge, suspected of slipping into the river and getting missing.
Earlier, at around 9am the same day, a resident discovered an electric bicycle and a fish box on the bank of the canal at the foot of Xang bridge, Hoc Mon commune, but could not find the person. Suspecting something was not right, this person reported it to the local authorities.
According to the people, this young man about 16 years old often goes here to fish in his free time. Maybe while fishing, the victim accidentally slipped and fell into the water. The victim's identity has not been announced.
Hoc Mon Commune Police are coordinating with Ho Chi Minh City Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Police and a team of professional divers to deploy the search.
