Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on September 2, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Quang Ngai Provincial Police received a report about the suspected disappearance of Mr. H.V.O (64 years old), residing in Tra Xanh village, Thanh Bong commune, while fishing in the stream area of Thanh Bong commune (old Tra Lam commune).
Immediately afterwards, the unit mobilized 2 vehicles along with 24 officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles from the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 1 and 2 to the scene, coordinating with the Commune Police, local authorities and people to organize the search and rescue.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police quickly deployed divers around the suspected area to search for the victim. The search for the victim encountered many difficulties due to the difficult terrain and strong water flow.
On September 4, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police, Quang Ngai Provincial Police discovered the victim's body under the waterfall rock, then coordinated with local authorities to bring the victim's body to shore.
