On September 1, in Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province, the Naval Region 5 Command organized a gift-giving ceremony from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense to soldiers who have been receiving long-term treatment and have especially difficult family circumstances on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Mai Dang Danh - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Region emphasized: "The gifts from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense demonstrate the concern of the Party, State and Army for officers and soldiers of Naval Region 5, especially comrades facing difficulties in life. In this gift-giving ceremony, the Naval Region 5 Command presented 7 gifts (each worth 1.8 million VND).
