On October 6, according to information from the Dong Thap Provincial Police website, Binh Hang Trung Commune Police are consolidating records to clarify the property theft case that occurred in the area.
Previously, at 2:00 p.m. on October 5, Binh Hang Trung Commune Police received a report from Ms. B.T.K.T (39 years old, residing in Hamlet 2, Binh Hang Trung Commune, Dong Thap Province) about the discovery of a Honda motorbike being stolen from a porch.
After receiving the report, Binh Hang Trung Commune Police urgently verified, and at 3:00 p.m. the same day, discovered and invited Ho Van Tam (32 years old, residing in Hamlet 1, Binh Hang Trung Commune) to work.
Through investigation, Tam admitted to breaking into Ms. T's house to steal a motorbike after taking the subject and hiding it in Tan Truong Hamlet (My Tho Commune, Dong Thap Province).
In addition, Tam also confessed that on October 2, 2025, he and Nguyen Thanh Phong (36 years old, living in My Hiep commune, Dong Thap province) committed theft of a motorbike and a candy loudspeaker in Binh Hang Trung commune, Dong Thap province. Through working with the subject Phong also admitted to accompanying Tam in stealing the above property.
Currently, Binh Hang Trung Commune Police have recovered the assets stolen by the above subject and consolidated the records, continued to investigate and clarify to handle according to the law.
