On the morning of May 19, Ta Dung National Park (Dak Nong) held a launching ceremony for "Planting trees to forever remember Uncle Ho", on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1809 - May 19, 2025).

The launching ceremony attracted more than 200 delegates, including representatives from the Dak Som Commune People's Committee, the Dak G'long - Gia Nghia Inter-district Forest Protection Department, and leaders and officials of Ta Dung National Park.
The ceremony had representatives of the forest protection contracted household, representatives of JOY FOUNDATION Social Company Limited, the seedling sponsor.
Mr. Khuong Thanh Long, Director of the Ta Dung National Park Management Board, shared the importance of planting trees in the context of climate change seriously affecting the living environment.
He emphasized that trees play an essential role in nature conservation, biodiversity protection, disaster reduction and climate change response, while promoting sustainable development.

Ta Dung National Park calls on each individual to become a core in the movement to plant trees and protect the environment. Through tree planting activities, people will work together to build an increasingly beautiful homeland.
According to the Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025", Ta Dung National Park plans to plant more than 20,000 trees in 2024. People in the buffer zone are very excited to participate in these activities.
Mr. K'Mang, the team leader, received the contract very happily when he was able to participate in planting trees with the people.
According to him, this activity helps people better understand the meaning and importance of forest protection.
After the launching ceremony, delegates and people planted more than 500 trees along National Highway 28 and will continue to complete the plan to plant 15,000 trees in the National Park and buffer zone until the end of August 2025.
