On June 5, Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Son commune (Trang Bom district) and local departments and branches to organize a launching ceremony to implement the "Ship Road - Flower Road" movement and respond to World Environment Day.
At the program, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dang - Deputy Director of Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company and the company's Trade Union represented 2,000 trees and 2 tons of fertilizers from sponsors to carry out the "Ship Road - Flower Road" movement.
Also at the launching ceremony, Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company and the People's Committee of Bac Son Commune (Trang Bom District) signed a commitment to mobilize local people to join hands in maintaining hygiene and taking care of trees planted in the railway corridor. At the same time, strictly comply with railway traffic safety regulations, do not encroach on railway corridors...
After the launching ceremony, Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company coordinated with units to plant 300 trees in Bac Son commune from Km1681+500 - Km1682+500. Previously, the company planted 500 trees in Xuan Tho and Quang Tien communes. It is expected that in the coming time, the company will continue to coordinate to plant the remaining trees in Tan Mai ward (Bien Hoa city) and Xuan Lap (Long Khanh city)... to reach 2,000 sponsored trees.
From 2023 to now, Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company has coordinated to implement and replicate the program "Train - Flower Road" in many provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Binh Thuan, gradually creating the attention and support of local governments and people living along the railway sides. Up to now, the company has planted trees and flowers at 68 working positions are cross -roads, offices of supply and demand, railway teams and more than 16km of flower roads along the route.
The number of planted flower plants has grown well, and has been periodically taken care of by the railway unit and local authorities, creating many beautiful routes.
In Dong Nai province, more than 5km of flower roads have been coordinated to be planted through Xuan Truong and Xuan Tho communes (Xuan Loc district), Quang Tien commune (Trang Bom district) and now Bac Son commune (Trang Bom district) in Dong Nai province.
In 2025, the company will plant nearly 10km of additional flower road in Dong Nai.
