On September 20, information from the authorities said that since the beginning of the year, the Traffic Police force in the whole province has arranged 4,846 patrol and control cases with 22,095 officers and soldiers participating.
Through patrolling, detecting and recording 10,184 violations of the Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety; administratively sanctioning over 27 billion VND.
Of which, the authorities have revoked the driving licenses of a total of 729 cases; deducted driving license points for 1,036 cases; and temporarily detained 3,606 vehicles of all kinds.
Handling 1,860 cases of alcohol concentration violations; 14 cases of driving on the road with drugs; administrative fines of over 10 billion VND.
detected 2,002 cases of speeding violations, administrative fines over 3.7 billion VND.
The whole province had 80 traffic accidents and collisions, killing 26 people and injuring 82, with property damage estimated at over 1.9 billion VND. The main reason is that the driver violates regulations on ensuring safety when participating in traffic.
Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of accidents, injuries and property damage (102 cases, 25 deaths, 113 injuries, property damage of nearly 2.2 billion VND) due to traffic accidents this year has decreased significantly. However, the number of deaths has not been able to decrease significantly.
