On July 30, Phuc Tho Lam Ha Commune Police (Lam Dong province) said they are continuing to investigate and consolidate dossiers to handle subjects related to the acts of using, storing, trading and organizing the illegal use of drugs.
Implementing the peak period of attacking and suppressing crime, the Commune Police strengthened patrols, inspections, and grasped the situation in key areas.
Through monitoring, functional forces discovered a group of subjects showing signs of organizing the illegal use of drugs at a rented house in the area.
At about 8 pm on July 28, the commune police inspected and caught a group of subjects red-handed using illegal drugs, seizing related exhibits.
The rapid test results showed that subjects L.M. T. P, K.S. K. N and P.S.H. P were all positive for Methamphetamine. Initially, the subjects confessed to using methamphetamine at the above location.
Expanding the investigation immediately that night, the Commune Police took H.T and D. T. H to the headquarters to work. Through struggle, H.T confessed to buying drugs from N.L. A. T, residing in Hiep Thanh commune.
From this confession, the police force continued to catch N.L. A. T red-handed, seize and seal exhibits to serve the investigation.
According to the Police agency, the actions of the subjects show signs of the crimes of Illegally possessing narcotics, Illegally trading narcotics and Organizing the illegal use of narcotics according to the provisions of the Penal Code.
Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded for handling according to the provisions of law.
