Towards World Environment Day June 5th, Duy Nghia Commune People's Committee, Da Nang City has just coordinated with Nam Hoi An Development Co., Ltd. (Hoiana) to organize an urban tree planting program, aiming to spread awareness of environmental protection and build a green, clean, and beautiful landscape in residential areas.
At the program, local leaders, business representatives and volunteers planted 50 purple crape myrtle trees along the main road of An Lac village. The planted trees are about 3.5m high, about 0.8m wide, and are arranged in vacant land areas along the road.

According to Duy Nghia Commune People's Committee, planting trees not only contributes to creating shade and improving the landscape but also enhances the responsibility of the community in protecting the living environment. After completing the planting of trees, the coordinating unit will monitor and care for the trees in the first month before handing over so that the locality and people can continue to maintain them.
Representatives of Hoiana said that the tree planting activity is part of the "Green in Action - Action for a Green Earth" program, implemented from the end of April 2026 to encourage employees to participate in environmental activities.

Previously, the two units had implemented many meaningful activities such as: Encouraging the selection of vegetarian menus at the kitchen, collecting recyclable waste, and exchanging waste for gifts. In just one morning, the program collected more than 250kg of recyclable waste and about 200 used cans.
Leaders of Duy Nghia commune assessed that the participation of businesses in environmental and social security activities is a necessary resource, contributing to the locality in building green, clean, and sustainable rural areas.
