Tra On Commune presents Mid-Autumn Festival gifts worth over 1 billion VND to celebrate the success of the Provincial Party Congress

Vinh Long - More than 8,000 gifts and scholarships, worth more than 1 billion VND, were presented to children in Tra On commune, successfully welcoming the Provincial Party Congress.

On October 5, at Tra On Secondary School, the People's Committee of Tra On commune organized the program "Full Moon Festival - Lighting up dreams" for children in the area.

With the theme of Lanterns lighting up dreams, the program brought children a bustling, colorful space.They participated in many meaningful activities during the Mid-Autumn Festival such as folk games, rewarded puzzles, performances and especially a vibrant lion dance.

The children also enjoy the fairy tale Moon Night scene staged and performed by students of the school, recreating the image of Ms. Hang and Uncle Cuoi associated with their childhood.

On this occasion, 500 students of Tra On Secondary School received Mid-Autumn Festival gifts supported by sponsors; at the same time, the school also organized a Mid-Autumn Lantern making contest.

Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thuy - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tra On commune read the Mid-Autumn Festival greeting letter from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, sent compliments, encouragement and wished the children to always be good and good at studying.

Ms. Thuy said that this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, successfully celebrating the Provincial Party Congress, Tra On commune strongly mobilized donors to give more than 8,000 gifts, scholarships and valuable assets of more than 1 billion VND.

This is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the local concern and practical care, helping children have more conditions to enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival, continue to go to school and excelled in their studies.
