Accordingly, at around 1:00 p.m. the same day, at Nam O beach, people discovered the bodies of two children drifting ashore, so they called the authorities.
Immediately afterwards, local authorities coordinated with functional forces to approach the scene and identify the two victims. Through verification, the two children who died were T.Q.V. and D.X.T. (both born in 2011, residing in Hoa Son commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city). The initial cause was determined to be drowning.
At around 6:00 p.m., relatives of the two victims arrived at the scene. Currently, the authorities are supporting the families to bring the victims' bodies home and clarify the cause of the incident.
It is known that Nam O beach has experienced many tragic drowning incidents. In this situation, the local government has asked tourism establishments to increase measures to ensure the safety of tourists, especially children, to avoid similar unfortunate accidents.
