On December 27, Kien Luong Commune Police (An Giang) said that the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Provincial Police had just issued a Decision to arrest Bui Quang Hien in an emergency case, born in 1996 (residing in Lo Bom hamlet, Kien Luong commune, An Giang province) to investigate the act of "Theft of property".

Previously, Kien Luong Commune Police received a report from people about a property theft case in Group 3, Lo Bom hamlet. The Commune Police quickly deployed forces to the area to verify and clarify. Through applying professional measures, the police force identified the suspect of property theft as Bui Quang Hien.

At the police station, suspect Bui Quang Hien confessed: At about 7:30 pm on December 19, 2025, while driving a motorbike, the motorbike ran out of gas, so Hien had to walk. When arriving at the beginning of alley 3, Lo Bom hamlet, Hien discovered in front of the motorbike repair shop a motorbike with a key attached to the motorbike and no one watching, so he had the intention to steal.

Hien parked his motorbike on the side of the road, observed that there was no one in the motorbike repair shop and the surrounding area, so he went in to steal the motorbike, drove it away to hide it, then walked back to get his motorbike and left.

Through verification, Bui Quang Hien has 1 previous conviction for the act of "Consuming property obtained from another person's crime", 1 previous conviction for the act of "Illegally possessing drugs" and 2 previous convictions for the act of "Theft of property".

Currently, the Provincial Police Investigation Agency is continuing to investigate and clarify, and handle the subject in accordance with regulations.
