A truck carrying vegetables collided with a motorbike while going downhill, injuring 2 people

Lam Dong - A motorbike was just crossing the road at an intersection when a truck carrying vegetables hit it from behind, causing the two women to be hospitalized for emergency care.

On the afternoon of April 4, Lam Dong provincial authorities are investigating the cause of the traffic accident that just occurred in the area.

Initial information, the traffic accident occurred at around 10:25 a.m. on April 4 on National Highway 20, through the B'Lao Sire intersection (Dai Lao commune, Bao Loc city).

Images recorded by security cameras show that the motorbike driven by Ms. Tran Thi H. (48 years old) carrying Ms. Pham Thi H. (59 years old), also residing in Dai Lao commune (Bao Loc city), was moving through the intersection between B'Lao Sire road and National Highway 20.

When the motorbike had just passed the intersection to the right side of the road in the direction of traffic from Bao Loc City to Ho Chi Minh City, it was hit by a truck that was going downhill and crashing from behind.

The truck with license plate 60D- 011.82 was driven by driver Nguyen Vo Hoang Son (28 years old, residing in Tan Phu district, Dong Nai province).

The strong impact from the back of the truck pushed the motorbike many meters away and injured the two women.

Recorded at the scene, the truck's blemish was about 20 meters deep on the road. The accident caused severe damage to the motorbike and the truck was lying across the road.

After the accident, local people quickly took the two victims to Lam Dong Hospital II for emergency care.

According to doctors at Lam Dong II Hospital, patient Tran Thi H. was hospitalized in a coma due to a severe traumatic brain injury.

After first aid, the patient was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital for further treatment.

Patient Pham Thi H. only suffered minor scratches, after receiving first aid, the bandage on the wound was discharged home for further monitoring.

Receiving the news, the traffic police force of Lam Dong Province, Dai Lao Commune Police and the relevant agencies were present to coordinate the traffic regulation. At the same time, functional forces examine the scene to serve the investigation, clarify the cause of the accident.
