On April 3, the Economic Police Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Police filed a case to handle H.V.T (34 years old) and N.V.T (33 years old), both from Nghe An, for illegal discharge into the natural environment.
Earlier, the Economic Police Department in collaboration with the police of Tan Hung commune, Ba Ria city inspected, discovered and caught H.V.T and N.V.T, which are controlling two vehicles to suck the septic tank number 61C-359.38 and 51C-696.50, and connect the waste pipes discharged to the Dinh River. The force has made a record at the scene, bringing people and exhibits to the headquarters to work.
During the work, H.V.T and N.V.T confessed to having been dredging for bridge banks since 2023. After sucking waste from the phosphate tank at a resident's house, the two subjects drove to an empty lot and installed pipes to discharge into the Dinh River.
The above behavior has affected the environment, affecting the health of people and the surrounding ecosystem. Therefore, the Economic Police Department is preparing a file to handle the two subjects according to the law.
