Article 10 of Circular No. 60/2025/TT-BCT stipulates the retail price of electricity for electric vehicle chargers as follows:
1. Retail price of electricity for charging purposes applies to electricity buyers using electricity for charging stations/charging stations, electric vehicle battery exchangers serving the business of electric vehicle charging services for electric vehicles used for transportation including electric buses and must install a separate electricity metering meter.
2. In case of charging an electric vehicle by a customer signing an electricity use contract for domestic purposes, the retail price of electricity shall be applied according to the provisions of Point a, Clause 3, Article 3 of this Circular.
3. In case the customer's electric vehicle charging is contracted to use electricity for non-residential purposes, the retail price of electricity for each electricity purpose will be applied if there is a separate electricity measuring meter. In case the power grid structure cannot install a separate electricity measuring meter for the purpose of charging electricity, the electricity selling price will be applied according to the provisions of Point b, Clause 3, Article 3 of this Circular.
Thus, the retail price of electricity for electric vehicle chargers is regulated as above.
